With Emmy’s under his belt, Rick Cleveland (95BA) will join Hawkeyes for a virtual conversation about his life after Iowa and how he’s made a name for himself in Hollywood.

Cleveland graduated from the Iowa Playwrights Workshop in 1995 and has become a staple in the Hollywood writing scene. From Emmy nominations to Emmy awards, scripts to screenplays, Cleveland has flexed his writing abilities across a variety of projects. He’s also a founding member of the Chicago American Blues Theater and the Ojai Playwrights Conference in Ojai, California.
